Home Tour - Part 11, Big Boy Bedroom
Yeah, I'thousand a fleck embarrassed to say this, but I'yard finally calculation another room to our domicile tour, afterward about a twelvemonth of no habitation tour updates at all.
I'm i of those, "perfectionist's," y'all know… that never feels similar something is set to reveal, because there'south always something else I could add together? So I wait & look, until I think it'south ok to finally take photos, only to realize that information technology will NEVER be "done."
When nosotros moved in to our new home, I was due to have babe #ii in 2 weeks. {Yeah, we are crazy people.}
I had struggled with deciding on whether or not to move my and then, 2 year one-time, in to a big boy bed, or a toddler bed. Afterward thinking it over, I realized that I didn't want to purchase a toddler bed that he would just grow out of within a couple of years, and get ahead and go for the large male child bed. {We bought a Queen}
And so how did I proceed him from falling out? I bought bed rails, like these: Bed Runway, and they worked like a charm!
Big Male child Chamber
I snagged this adorable dinosaur comforter at Target a few months dorsum, and I'g in LOVE with information technology. It has the look of a quilt, and I tin launder information technology and wash information technology, and it even so looks fabulous.
I even got the beautiful little dinosaur blimp fauna in that location to get with it. Eeeek.

I purchased the piffling green square pillows a while back, from Etsy. I just love how beautiful and petite they are.

Every bit you can tell, I don't really similar to go with a certain "theme," for my kids bedrooms. They're tastes change then much, and so I just similar to become with a color scheme and go along it elementary.
I grabbed this 3-Photo collage from Home Goods a looong fourth dimension agone. Home Goods is the "jackpot," when it comes to needing decor for your home. Reasonable, and in-way decor.

We keep a lamp and a few photos on the little guys nightstand, and yous tin can almost count on there being a train or two hangin' out there at night before bed.

Oh yep, the fish. We HAD to get the fish that day nosotros visited the pet store. Merely I'thousand sure you can guess who feeds it e'er day. Yep, me.
The alphabetic character "G" was purchased from CraftCuts.com, {already painted} and all I had to exercise was hang information technology upwardly. Dear Honey Dear Arts and crafts Cuts. The other little art images were from Target last year.

I remember seeings someone take unfinished spice racks from Ikea, and turn them in to volume shelves. I idea information technology was sooo creative, and I had to do it.

Having a little reading nook in the corner of his room, is ane of my favorites. It completely melts my heart when I walk in and see him or his brother sitting in the recliner, reading a brusk story.

I merely recently found this train print at Hobby Lobby. Information technology was a definite "must-take," when I saw information technology. He is quite obsessed with trains, and the blue went right along with the color scheme of the room. Score!
I must say, my {almost 4 twelvemonth old} loves hanging out in his room. He'll stare at his fish, read a book, or bound on the bed. You know.. .typical boy stuff. 🙂
I'm so glad that I was finally able to share some other room from the domicile bout with you. I notwithstanding accept more rooms to show you, but every bit always… they're not near ready yet. 😉
